Comparisons from England

-->
Comparisons from England
the girls each choose two things to experience and share from each country.
Rachael chose to try a hamburger in each country and to taste it and rate it on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best.
She also chose to meet a dog in each country we visit and take a picture of it, and pet it if it was friendly.

Riley chose to try hot cocoa in each county and also rate it on a scale of 1-10.
Her second thing she chose is to make a fairy home for the fairies in each country we visit, and take a picture of it when she is finished building it.

 Here are the pictures...

Here is a dog the girls found to pet, it was tied to a bench and whined at them when they walked by, they just had to stop and pet it.

Rachael decided against a burger in England. Instead she tried a birthday meatball sandwich from the Italian deli below our apartment we stayed at in London. She gave it a perfect 10!
Riley built her fairy home in the gardens at the famous St. James Park in London.  For Riley it is famous because it is the same park that was in Mary Poppins!

Riley had some hot chocolate from a cafe with breakfast, it was chocolatly but not sweet, she gave it a 4.

The girls also took pictures of all the things they saw that were different in London than at home.
the London red phone booths
street performers
a big river with lots of bridges
lots of very old brick and stone buildings
instead of watch your step, they say mind the gap.
The button to push for the crosswalk has a picture on it.
red two level buses everywhere
cobblestone streets
look right when crossing the street, the cars drive on the other side of the street.
a taxi car .
the coins
instead of exit, the sign says way out.
the subway train is called the underground, or the oyster in London!
